Our camp is
located in beautiful Summerville, South Carolina and
we meet the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30PM (except holidays) at the
Summerville Masonic Lodge located on 111 N. Main Street in Summerville.

Our
Mission
as part of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is to preserve the
history and legacy of the many heroes that fought for the Confederacy.
Organized in 1896, the S C V will continue to serve as a historical,
patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated in preserving the true
history during the period of 1861-1865. |

you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of
the Cause for which we fought; to your strength will be given the defense of the
Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation
of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles he loved and which made him
glorious and which you also cherish. Remember, it is your duty to see that the
true history of the South is presented to future generations." |
