It was the best we could do to display them. The color mat around the picture is the same. The
lighting that we had show a fade effect but that is not the case. The
prints have excellent color in them and are well worth the price. |

Arsenal was an established U.S. Arsenal at the time of the war, however it
was the Confederates who greatly expanded its facilities and capacity.
Captured by Georgia troops upon the session of that State in late January
1861, by the following summer Confederate Chief of Ordnance, Josiah Gorgas
had decided to make it a "great arsenal". A memorial honoring war
dead, a brick chimney is all that remains of what was once the
