The H. L. Hunley Camp #143 is proud to announce, due to the generosity of South Carolina artist Larry Arnold, we have a large number of Civil War prints available for sale.  These prints are of the highest quality and we are able to offer them at prices that are truly a bargain.  The price of each print is listed below and there will be a postage and handling charge of $15.00 per tube for orders of one or more prints up to ten prints.  They will be shipped via US Postal Service in tubes.  Please allow two weeks for delivery.
    There are some discounts that will apply:  If you are a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, United Daughters of the Confederacy or Order of the Confederate Rose, please deduct 10% from the cost of the print.   Please include in your order the Camp or Chapter to which you are a member.  If you order 10 or more prints please deduct 10% from the cost of the prints.  For orders of more than 15 prints, please call for a quote.  This discount just applies to the cost of the prints and does not apply to postage and handling charges.

NOTE: These prints were taken with a digital camera and then they were focused and sized with computer software to use on this website. It was the best we could do to display them. The color mat around the picture is the same. The lighting that we had show a fade effect but that is not the case. The prints have excellent color in them and are well worth the price.

The August Arsenal was an established U.S. Arsenal at the time of the war, however it was the Confederates who greatly expanded its facilities and capacity. Captured by Georgia troops upon the session of that State in late January 1861, by the following summer Confederate Chief of Ordnance, Josiah Gorgas had decided to make it a "great arsenal". A memorial honoring war dead, a brick chimney is all that remains of what was once the second-largest powder factory in the world. Location: 1717 Goodrich St

Nathaniel Bedford Forrest
(July 13, 1821–October 29, 1877) was a Confederate Army general during the American Civil War. Perhaps the most highly regarded cavalry and partisan leader in the war, Forrest is regarded by many military historians as that conflict's most innovative and successful general. His tactics of mobile warfare are still studied by modern soldiers.

Charleston, South Carolina, is known as the “Holy City” since its skyline largely consists of a multitude of church steeples. One of the major historical events that occurred in Charleston happened in February 17, 1864, when the Confederate submarine, H. L. Hunley, commanded by Lt. George E. Dixon, sank the Union blockader, Housatonic, an accomplishment way ahead of that day and time.

The first cornerstone of the original church was laid, April 21, 1816. This building was used continuously for church services and civic gatherings until the great fire of May 29, 1831. The church was rebuilt on the old walls and completion and dedication of the new building was August 12, 1832.
