Commander Joe Willis welcomes everyone  to the Official Website of the H. L. Hunley Camp #143, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Army of Northern Virginia, South Carolina Division, 9th Brigade.

Our camp is located in beautiful Summerville, South Carolina and we meet the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30PM (except holidays) at the Summerville Masonic Lodge located on Main Street in Summerville.

Our Mission as part of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is to preserve the history and legacy of the many heroes that fought for the Confederacy. Organized in 1896, the S C V will continue to serve as a historical, patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated in preserving the true history during the period of 1861-1865.

"THE CHARGE"

"To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of the Cause for which we fought; to your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles he loved and which made him glorious and which you also cherish. Remember, it is your duty to see that the true history of the South is presented to future generations."
